Commercial Port of Vladivostok has 15 berths with a total length of more than 4 km. It is one of the largest multi-purpose ports in the Russian Far East.

Commercial Port of Vladivostok is the best-equipped port in the region. Its state-of-the-art cargo handling equipment enables the stevedore company to provide the customers with the innovative solutions on cargo handling.

Developed rail infrastructure creates additional competitive advantages for the company to provide the further shipment of the customers’ cargo to different destinations of Russia.

Being Russia’s gateway to the Pacific, Commercial Port of Vladivostok carries out the handling of foreign trade and cabotage cargoes.

Port Development Prospects

The Port Development Strategy through 2015 includes the projects that envisage the enhancement of cargo turnover up to 8.5 mln. tons, including the growth of handling containers up to 650,000 TEUs, as well as high-valued cargo, namely cars and heavy-duty vehicles, heavy lifts and project cargo.

Project implementation envisages to:

  • improve the throughput of the existing container terminal due to the redevelopment of the berths;
  • further develop dedicated car and heavy-duty vehicle terminal;
  • reconstruct and upgrade oil terminal in order to enhance oil products handling capacity. Oil terminal will comply with highest environmental standards;
  • increase road and rail access capacity to the port.
