Internal Social Programs

Basic social responsibilities of the Port in relation to its employees are as follows:

  • The Port provides appropriate working conditions and adheres to labour safety regulations;
  • The Port guarantees timely payment of salary;

Extra social responsibilities of the Port are as follows:

  • The Port realizes health care programs and promotes healthy lifestyle among the employees, realizes programs of supplementary health and pension insurance;
  • The Port provides assistance to the nonworking pensioners;
  • The Port provides financial aid to its employees in case of emergency;

Social security scheme used at the port helps to attract highly-qualified specialists, reduce employee turnover, promote corporate culture and improve performance results.

Social Partnership

Port’s trade union represents port workers’ interests in maintaining and improving conditions of employment.

By signing collective agreement the employer and its employees negotiate on welfare and development of the port and its workers in order to achieve high performance results and create atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation.

Social Assistance

When retired port workers receive one-time payment for the whole work period, for disabled and handicapped the amount of payment is increased by 25%.

Pensioners – members of Non-profit organization Labor Veterans Support Fund receive special pension from Commercial Port of Vladivostok on a monthly basis.
